Sand & Story
A quiet place to build
A sand tray is a way of showing what can be hard to say. Shape the sand, choose figures from the shelf, and let a small world take shape.
There's no right way to do it, and nothing you have to finish.
Nothing you make leaves this device.
Something to try
Or ignore this and just play. Whatever you make is fine.
How this works
Shape the sand. Dig with your finger, pile sand into hills, rake lines, or smooth it flat. Dig deep enough and you'll reach the blue bottom, like water.
Add figures. Open the shelf and tap a figure to set it in the tray. Drag figures to move them. Tap one to turn it, resize it, bury it, or lay it down.
Look around. Choose Move and drag the empty sand, or use two fingers, to walk around the tray. The eye button looks straight down from above.
Keep it. Take a photo to save a picture. Your tray also stays here if you come back on this device.
Keyboard. Arrow keys move a selected figure, Q/E turn it, +/− resize it, Delete removes it. Ctrl/⌘+Z undoes.
This is a calming activity, not therapy or an assessment. Everything stays on this device, and nothing is sent anywhere. If you're in crisis, call or text 988.
